Judging from the missing jet engines scandal to the latest “Allah” issue, it seems Najib’s administration may be short-lived – shorter than former PM Abdullah Badawi.
You may not like Badawi’s administration because, well, there was no administration in the first place *grin* simply because the country was on auto-pilot while the pilot was dozing off most of the time. Of course Badawi managed to “steal” his first 4-year term with rosy promises otherwise he would have been booted out within a single term.
Najib’s mentor, former PM Mahathir, was quick to joke that the country would be in better shape since Najib Razak does not sleep on the job although he (Mahathir) is amazingly quiet on Najib’s most tainted allegation – the allegedly link to Mongolian Altantuya’s murder. Mahathir was however quite annoyed with the allegation that he has squandered about RM100 billion during his 22-year rule. Without denying Barry Wain’s claim, Mahathir pointed that Abdullah Badawi’s administration was worse - indicating his chosen successor has squandered more than what he did.
Nobody was surprised; instead it would be super strange if the current ruling government led by UMNO is not corrupt. That’s how serious the corruption this country has plunges into. Corruption has been part of the culture in the society, thanks to Mahathir Mohamad, and there’s no sign showing it’s slowing down. As a matter of fact, the corruption is heading for the worst due to the Mar 2008 general election factor. Najib’s administration is actually at the crossroad. The next general election may see the first defeat of the current government which has been ruling since independence. So what shall the government of the day do?

I will help in this process ... - Najib’s Down-Fall – (MAKE IT) Faster than Abdullah Badawi?
1) Get my friends and family to register as votes.
2) Contribute my comments to blogs and web site (to show the government the Rakyat are not happy)
3) Encourage more government scandals to be exposed ie) Port Klang, the jet engines, etc ….
4) Force more by-elections ie) in Perak state elections soon I hope ...

“It’s looting time dude, well, literally. It would be stupid if the current ministers, warlords and whatnot do not start filling their pockets knowing the voters have suddenly become intelligent overnight.”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Barry Wain said Toon Kutty squandered RM100 billion.
2. Toon Kutty said Sleepy Head squandered RM270 billion.
3. Question: What will be the amount for Jibby’s then?
Clue: With all the multi-billion scandals we had seen in less than 1 year of his premiership, the graph seems to be moving upwards at a much faster rate.
What, UMNO trying to change to good governance? That’s absurd and it will never happen!
It is time we kick-out this corrupt thieving regime!

Hope you don't mind if I make a request ... Could you please not use upper case all the time when commenting ... comes over as if you are shouting which I am sure you don't mean to do. Thanks. So I ended up skipping your comments which is such a shame.
Typing in all capital letters on the Internet is considered rude because it is difficult to read and comes across as very aggressive (LIKE SHOUTING!). (http://www.simplehelp.net/2006...etiquette/).
No offence intended.

But one has just to look at the unscrupulous manner Perak was snatched under the PR's noses and how without qualms all the institutions of the state are used to ensure the UMNOputras hold on power in Perak remains.
Only the rakyat can dislodge the UMNOputras hold on power.
For that we need to hope the rakyat in sabah & Sarawak will embrace the political change required.

THERE IS NO MORE RANK & FILE RESPECT TOWARDS PARTY STALWARTS SIMPLY BECAUSE IF THE JUNIORS WERE TO WAIT FOR THEIR TURNS TO MOVE UP THE RUNGS OF THE LADDER , THERE WOULD BE NOTHING LEFT FOR THEM TO SQUANDER THE WAY THEY ARE WITNESSING THEIR SENIORS' HELPING THEMSELVES TO FEED THEIR GLUTTONOUS APPETITES.
SO THE PM MUST BE SURELY "HAVING" COMPOUND EYES THAT CAN SCAN 360 DEGREES WITHOUT MOVING HIS HEAD AT ALL. DPM IS ALL THE TIME IN A CROUCHING POSITION. TDM IS RUNNING OUT OF TIME JOSTLING TO PUSH HIS SON UP THE RUNGS OF LADDER WHICH IS STILL A LONG WAY UP TO CLIMB.

How nice to see such a headline/report! But sorry guys, this one is not on Malaysia. It's China.
Huang Songyou, former vice-president of the Supreme People's Court (SPC), was found guilty of taking bribes of more than 3.9 million yuan ($574,000) from 2005 to 2008, said the Langfang Intermediate People's Court in north China's Hebei province, where Huang went on trial last Thursday.

1st of all why corruption.it happen only when muatual interest is laid, one need and the other one give.I am quite sure corruption mostly involved between chinese and malay.as we know govert servant consist malays in majority.the nature of our malays are sluggish, lazy and incompetant.on the other hand our chinese people are greedy, selfish and most importantly they want thing fast and reap fast, for them time is money.so it happened this two parties meet, the chinese will rushing like shit yet our malays are insensible.from the begining, chinese would push, persuade by promising of giving presents of some sorts.slowly our malays tend to beget the habit of lure and as time roll it become a hidden-regulation through covert or overt display.
there is market so there is supply.should't chinese require paramount self-reflection?
