Kit Siang should stop making a fool of himself
Hence DAP’s and Kit Siang’s secularism is the real enemy of Islam, not corruption or kleptocracy. With Hudud we can get rid of corruption or kleptocracy in less than a year. Just chop off the hands and heads of corrupt people. So why does Kit Siang oppose Hudud? Kit Siang is the epitome of stupidity. He should not comment about something he knows nothing about.

Lim Kit Siang wrote a long thesis that was published in Malaysiakini about a subject he knows nothing about (READ BELOW). Let me sekolahkan Kit Siang so that he does not repeat this mistake of making a fool of himself. Malays say, sudahlah bodoh, sombong pulak — or, in short, bodoh-sombong.
First of all, the Zaman Kegemilangan Islam or the Golden Age of the Islamic Empire was during a time of conquest. That was when the Islamic State or Empire was expanded for 500 years from 750 to 1250 — that stretched from India all the way to Austria and Africa, and included Spain and Eastern Europe.
That is what ISIS or the Islamic State is trying to do today. And is this what Kit Siang supports, the effort by ISIS or the Islamic State to resurrect the Golden Age of the Islamic Empire through military conquest and based on the Qur’an and Sharia and a Caliphate system (and with no general elections, parliament or democracy)?
When the Islamic world was a theocracy (not secular) and a monarchy (not democracy) was when the Golden Age of the Islamic Empire was at its peak. Does Kit Siang know this? And does Kit Siang also know that ISIS or the Islamic State is trying to restore the Golden Age of the Islamic Empire with a theocracy by military conquest and based on the Qur’an and Sharia and a Caliphate system (and with no general elections, parliament or democracy)?
This was how the Golden Age of the Islamic Empire was born
If this is what Kit Siang is propagating — the restoration of the Golden Age of the Islamic Empire — then he must also support ISIS or the Islamic State. This is because the Golden Age of the Islamic Empire that Kit Siang supports so much was achieved through military conquest and through the Islamisation of the conquered population.
Then Malaysia should start but banning all other religions other than Islam and by forcing the non-Muslims to convert to Islam. Malaysia should lead the charge in restoring the Golden Age of the Islamic Empire, as Kit Siang suggests. And Malaysia needs to start, as Kit Siang says, by eliminating corruption and kleptocracy.
And the Islamic Empire succeeded in cleaning up the corruption and kleptocracy in the empire through Hudud. Yes, Kit Siang must support Hudud to clean up corruption and kleptocracy. This was how the Islamic Empire did it. And this is how Kit Siang will realise his dream of a corrupt-free and kleptocracy-free Islamic Empire.
Why is DAP opposed to Hudud when that will help clean up corruption and kleptocracy?
Kit Siang cannot have one without the other. China was united through the sword. China was defended through the sword. China became a great empire through the sword. And that was how the Golden Age of the Islamic Empire was born, through the sharp point of the sword as well.
And how did the Great Islamic Empire collapse? Because of the corruption from the West. First we had the Crusades that brought corruption to the Islamic Empire. For 400 years from 1095 to 1492 the west hammered at the doors of the Islamic Empire. The church was corrupt and this corruption seeped into the Islamic empire.
Gold was poured into the Islamic Empire to buy off corrupt and very ambitious claimants to the throne (like in Pakatan Harapan today). The Christian world supported one side to fight the other (they also did this in India from the 1700s to the 1900s). Through corruption (as Kit Siang said) the west brought down the Islamic Empire.

The final nail in the coffin of the Islamic Empire was secularism (which DAP and Kit Siang also propagate). After WWI, the Ottoman Empire was subjected to the doctrine of secularism and that saw the end of the theocracy of the Islamic Empire. And the Middle East was carved up by the west and corrupt leaders were given power over the many new countries.
And the west gave power to corrupt leaders so that they would serve the Christian world. And, until today, Saudi Arabia still serves the Christian world. And this is what ISIS or the Islamic State is trying to change. And guess who are the biggest enemies of ISIS or the Islamic State.

Yesterday, while supporting the idea proposed by Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad in Ankara that Muslim countries like Malaysia, Turkey and Pakistan pool their resources to make Islamic civilisation great again, I made the point that it is not possible to make Islamic civilisation great again based on klepto-theocracy – the political doctrine which misuses Islam to peddle lies, falsehoods, distrust, suspicion, hatred and which supports thievery and corruption.
This elicited an immediate attack by the proponents of klepto-theocracy, pouring out more lies and falsehoods as accusing me of condemning Muslims as thieves and being corrupt.
Only simpletons and the retarded will believe in such garbage, for there are Muslims who are thieves and corrupt just as there are non-Muslims who are thieves and corrupt.
A person becomes a thief or is corrupt not because of his religion but despite his religion – in fact if he is a pious follower of Islam or the great religions of the world, the last thing he would do is to become a thief or corrupt as he had disregarded the basic teachings of Islam and the great religions of the world to be good, pious, virtuous and God-fearing.
I support the idea of Malaysia contributing to the effort to make Islamic civilisation great again.
In fact, I would go further, as I had said: “Malaysia has the unique opportunity as the confluence of the great cultures, religions and civilisations in the world – Islamic, Chinese, Indian and Western – to leverage on and synthesise the best from these cultures, religions and civilisations to build a great Malaysian civilisation as a signal contribution to the international community, apart from contributing to make these civilisations great again.”
Why have the proponents of klepto-theocracy launched a tirade against me for my statement yesterday?
Are they against the revival of a great Islamic civilisation?
Do they believe that the Malaysian population would become “dumb and dumber” over the years as to believe in such political garbage peddled by their cyber troopers?
It is interesting to note that Pakistan has welcomed the idea of a Muslim renaissance with the co-operation of Pakistan, Turkey and Malaysia.
Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi in a tweet welcomed such a Muslim renaissance.
Qureshi also tweeted, “I was privileged to be part of the ministerial meeting of the three countries on the sidelines of OIC’s Makkah Summit.
“This important trilateral initiative will go a long way in fostering unity, cooperation and development across the Muslim world.”
Can the proponents of klepto-theocracy explain why they disagree that to make Islamic civilisation great again, there must be no misuse of Islam to peddle lies, falsehoods, distrust, suspicion, hatred or support of thievery and corruption, but only by striving to become the best and achieving excellence in every field of human endeavour?
Do the proponents of klepto-theocracy realise that to make the Islamic civilisation great again is not to propose a clash of civilisations as it is not antithetical to an era of the golden age for all civilisations.
The Western renaissance was born out of the Islamic renaissance.
The Islamic Golden Age was a period of cultural, economic and scientific flourishing in the history of Islam.
The memorable words of the Holy Prophet of Islam, “Go in quest of knowledge even unto the distant China”, awakened a spirit of enquiry among the Arabs.
The great orientalist Philip K Hitti acknowledged the greatness of Arab culture in his History of the Arabs: “Between mid-8th and start of the 13th centuries, the Arab-speaking people were the main torchbearers of culture and civilization throughout the world.
“They were the medium through which ancient science and philosophy were recovered, supplemented and transmitted in such a way as to make possible the renaissance of western Europe.”
Are Malaysians prepared to stop misusing Islam and the other great religions to foster the revival of the Golden Age of Islamic, Chinese, Indian and Western civilisations?
