RON95, 97 up by 4 sen

(FMT) – The price of RON95 and RON97 petrol will go up by four sen to RM1.97 and RM2.27 per litre respectively, effective midnight, the finance ministry has announced.

The price of diesel, however, will remain at RM2.18 per litre.

“The global price of refined petroleum products increased to $US62 from $US60 for RON95 per barrel, while the price for RON97 increased to $US73 from $US72 per barrel,” the ministry said in a statement.

The new prices will be in effect from Feb 9 till Feb 15.
