Pua says ‘80pc happy’ with PAC report on 1MDB

(MMO) – Public Accounts Committee (PAC) member Tony Pua said today that he is satisfied but not entirely happy with the panel’s report on 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).

Pua, who is DAP’s MP for Petaling Jaya Utara, said certain parts of the committee’s recommendations did not make it to the final report that was tabled yesterday in Parliament.

“Am I satisfied? I am satisfied but there are things that I’m not to satisfied about. Around 80 per cent I am happy with what came out,” he told reporters at the DAP headquarters today.

When pressed to reveal what were the recommendations that were left out of the report, Pua simply said, “I will answer that in a separate press conference”.

The DAP man added that among the reasons the report had to be rushed was because it had to be tabled by the last of day of the Parliament meeting that concluded yesterday.
