Zahid refuses to entertain ‘London Move’ rumour
Umno president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi refuses to entertain the ‘London Move’ claims, allegedly a plot to oust him as the party president.
(Sinar Daily) – He said the claims were only rumours.
“I heard the rumours, (but I) don’t make decisions based on these rumours,” he said in a press conference in conjunction with the 2023 New Year Mandate of the Rural and Regional Development Ministry (KKDW), here, on Thursday.
A portal reported a secret meeting in London allegedly took place recently and it was said to be organising a movement to realign the country’s political landscape.
The London Move was said to attempt to topple the unity government involving several political leaders including those from Umno and opposition parties.
