Terengganu-owned Chicken Cottage hatches expansion plans in Greater Manchester
(Bdaily News) – Global restaurant chain Chicken Cottage Ltd has announced plans to invest over half a million pounds in the Greater Manchester region and create around 25 new jobs.
The expansion began this week with the launch of a new ‘cloud’ kitchen to meet increased online demand. The outlet has employed seven new team members and offers a delivery only service, featuring a full fusion menu of halal grilled and fried chicken and recently launched plant-based IMPOSSIBLE “chicken” nuggets.
The site will deliver within a 2.5-mile radius of the base in Ardwick, Manchester. Two more quick service restaurants are currently in the planning stages with several potential sites being reviewed across Greater Manchester.
These two new restaurants will offer eat in, take away and delivery services, increasing the number of Chicken Cottage outlets across the region to seven.
