Islam is judged by the conduct of Muslims

But Muslims are doing things that make it easy to attack Islam. The ammunition to attack Islam comes from the Muslims themselves. Muslims are losers, so expect to be treated like losers. And the collapse of the Islamic Empire 100 years ago was caused by nationalism, not by the enemies of Islam. So stop living in denial.

I have said this many times before. If I was not a Muslim and I was considering converting to Islam, and I was using the conduct of Muslims to consider whether to convert to Islam or not, I would most likely not convert.

In fact, many Christians who converted to Islam had said the same thing. Muslims are the worst examples of what a Muslim should be like. One famous Muslim convert said if you want to see a perfect Islamic society you should go to non-Muslim countries, not to Muslim countries.

I have come across arguments by Malays (meaning Muslims) who say Islam must not be judged based on the conduct of Malays (Muslims). Most people violate Islamic teachings and do the opposite of what Islam says. So you cannot criticise Islam because of what Muslims do.

But that is just it. People do judge Islam based on what Muslims do. And they condemn Islam when Muslims misbehave. When Muslims bomb and kill innocent people, Islam gets the bad name.

I mean, why do many Malays hate DAP? What wrong has DAP done? Is DAP guilty of any crime?

People hate DAP because of the conduct of DAP leaders and supporters. You may say DAP is a multi-racial party. But because a number of DAP leaders demonstrate anti-Malay and anti-Islam tendencies, people view DAP as a Chinese chauvinist, racist and Islamophobic party.

Can you argue that just because some Nazi leaders are anti-semitic and propagate the extermination of Jews, this does not mean the Nazi party is an evil party? Or that the Nazi party itself is a good party, it is just that some of its leaders are evil — and that the Nazi party must not be judged based on what its leaders and members do?

Muslims love to scream that they are victims of injustice and Islamophobia. Hitler killed millions. Stalin killed millions. So why is Christianity not also condemned like they condemn Islam?

Hitler and Stalin did not kill millions in the name of Jesus or God. Muslims shout the name of Muhammad and Allah when they kill. So Islam is associated with all that killing.

DAP is clever. They attack Islam not in the name of Christianity but in the name of secularism. So Malays may hate secularism, which is seen as anti-Islam, but they have no quarrel with Christianity.

Islam and Christianity are the same, two sides of the same coin. Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, etc., are not competitive religions. They are not obsessed with converting others to their religion. Christianity and Islam, however, are in a race to see how many people they can convert to Christianity-Islam.

Christians have hated Muslims and vice versa for more than 1,000 years. And that is never going to change in another 1,000 years. We can pretend all we want, but at best Christians and Muslims will merely tolerate one another. So let’s not pretend.
