This PAS leader must be smoking ganja

Muslims have been disunited and have fighting each other since the day Prophet Muhammad died. And the PAS, Umno, Bersatu, PKR, Amanah, Pejuang, etc., Muslims will never unite for 1,000 years. Islam is not able to unite Muslims. So what is this PAS leader talking about? Stop pretending that Islam can unite Muslims. In fact, the Muslims are divided even more.

PAS preacher: Selangor’s ban on politicians teaching Islam would only widen disunity among Muslims

(Focus Malaysia) – The Selangor Islamic Council’s (MAIS) decision to revoke teaching accreditation of those who are politically active is something that would only further widen the gap among Muslims, said a PAS leader.

According to Ahmad Dusuki Abdul Rani (picture), such a ban would be divisive and would allow the enemies of Islam to “rejoice”.

“The disunity we have among Muslims today would only be widened, and Muslims would not come together if such action is taken,” Ahmad Dusuki has been reported as saying by online news portal Malaysiakini.

“Allah’s blessings will not get to us when there is no unity. And clearly, the enemies of Islam would rejoice over this inside fighting among Muslims.”

Ahmad Dusuki, who was accredited by MAIS to preach on Islam in Selangor, was responding to the Islamic body’s announcement on Tuesday (Dec 28) that politicians and political operatives are no longer allowed to teach Islam in the state, effective January 1, 2022.

MAIS in a statement said their accreditation (tauliah) will be revoked effective Dec 31, and that no further accreditation will be given to those who are politically active.

MAIS chairperson Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof said this is in line with the degree of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah barring Islam from being politicised and used as a political tool, especially in mosques and surau.

However, an exemption has been given to whoever holds the Islamic affairs portfolio in Selangor, on the condition that any teachings on Islam do not include or touch on any political matters.

Commenting on the effects of the move on PAS leaders, Ahmad Dusuki told Malaysiakini that it was a test from Allah.

“Every test from God, there will surely be rewards.

“Dakwah works will still continue. There are many other ways in this era of technology. All of these will be seen by Allah,” he said.
