Former MACC chief made non-executive chairman of holding firm


A former chief of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) who was allegedly featured in an audio tape showing efforts to sabotage investigations into the 1MDB scandal has been given a senior position in a holding firm.

(MalaysiaNow) – Dzulkifli Ahmad, who resigned as the MACC chief commissioner following the change of government in 2018, was appointed as the independent and non-executive chairman of Joe Holding Bhd, a company involved in the manufacturing of automotive battery components as well as used cars.

The announcement was made in a bourse filing yesterday.
