Lawmakers to exhibit strong examples of altruism during country’s trying period, says president

(The Vibes) – PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has called on party lawmakers at every level to exhibit strong examples of altruism during the country’s trying period, and even use their personal funds where possible to assist their constituents.

He said that PKR is not just a political party that exists to propose national policies and advise the government, but also an organisation that serves the needs of the people.

Also in attendance at the event at the PKR headquarters in Petaling Jaya were Selangor PKR chief and Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari, PKR communications director and Lembah Pantai MP Fahmi Fadzil, and party information chief Datuk Seri Shamsul Iskandar who is Hang Tuah Jaya MP.

“I am happy because the MPs, state assemblymen, and party leaders from all levels have continued on the programme, which reduces the burdens and problems faced by the people due to the pandemic,” Anwar said.
