Just leave Sabah alone

PKR and Pakatan Harapan should just stay out of Sabah and stop spinning all these stories regarding what is happening in Sabah and what Sabah should do. The PKR and Pakatan Harapan people in Kuala Lumpur think they are so smart and only they know what to do while all others are idiots.

THE CORRIDORS OF POWER

Raja Petra Kamarudin

Over the last 24 hours the social media-internet has been flooded with postings about the so-called quarrel in Sabah regarding who should be the new Chief Minister.

Some say, since Warisan won the highest number of seats, Shafie Apdal should be the Chief Minister, even though his coalition did not win the majority.

Some say, the Parti Pribumi Bersatu people should resign and join Umno so that the quarrel over who should be the Chief Minister can end.

The Sabah leaders know what to do without Kuala Lumpur interfering in Sabah matters

Some say, the Sabah Governor, Juhar Mahiruddin, is being pressured or blackmailed into appointing Hajiji Mohd Noor from Bersatu as the new Chief Minister.

Some say, since GRS (Gabungan Rakyat Sabah) cannot decide between Hajiji and Bung Moktar Radin, then Salleh Said Keruak should be the Chief Minister instead.

Then there are stories about table-banging and shouting between Umno and Bersatu at the meeting to discuss who should be the Chief Minister.

And there is even talk that the Governor is purposely delaying the swearing-in of the new Chief Minister to allow time for Shafie to try to buy over the GRS State Assemblymen/women and form a backdoor government.

The Pakatan leaders are okay with Warisan buying over GRS people to form a backdoor government

It appears that DAP, PKR and Pakatan Harapan are okay with this. Anwar Ibrahim and Lim Guan Eng have agreed that Warisan should “shop” for as many GRS State Assemblymen/women as possible so that Warisan can form the state government and Shafie can get sworn in as the Chief Minister.

Yes, those are all the stories floating around over the last 24 hours. And most of these stories are coming from the PKR cyber-troopers in Kuala Lumpur.

Of course, none of these stories are true.

Actually, the political leaders in Sabah, never mind from which political party they come from, are quite close. Christina Liew, Salleh Said Keruak, Dr Jeffrey Kitingan, Pairin Kitingan, Bung Moktar, Hajiji Noor, Musa Aman, etc., all get on well together. They all may be from different parties but they are not enemies.

That is how it works in Sabah. And this is not only in politics. It is even so when it comes to religion. In one family they could be of different religions.

PKR in Kuala Lumpur is spinning lies about what is happening in Sabah

What is more important in this whole orgy of lies from PKR and Pakatan Harapan is: why is Kuala Lumpur interfering in matters concerning Sabah? The people in Sabah are not fighting. It is the people in Kuala Lumpur who are spreading stories about the “fight” in Sabah.

The Sabah people just want to be left alone. They do not want Kuala Lumpur telling them what to do. The Sabah people know what needs to be done and how to run their state.

Yang buat bising orang dari Kuala Lumpur, bukan orang dari Sabah.

Pakatan can no longer call the Perikatan government a backdoor government or call Muhyiddin an illegal Prime Minister

The silence from DAP, PKR, PAN and Pejuang, a.k.a. Pakatan Harapan, regarding the attempt to buy over the GRS State Assemblymen/women is deafening. If it was the other way around, Pakatan Harapan would be screaming about the rakyat’s mandate, undemocratic, backdoor government, illegal/unconstitutional Chief Minister, and so on. So why does Pakatan Harapan support what Warisan is trying to do in Sabah?

Pakatan Harapan can no longer scream about Perikatan Nasional being a backdoor government, Muhyiddin Yassin being an illegal Prime Minister, or about democracy, the rakyat’s mandate, etc. Pakatan Harapan is trying to steal the Sabah government by buying over GRS people. Hence condemning Perikatan Nasional tantamount to Anwar Ibrahim condemning gays as immoral people.
