Shafie Apdal’s Sabah election triggering spike in Covid-19 cases
(FMT) – The health ministry reported 62 new Covid-19 cases today, of which 60 were detected in Sabah.
The remaining two cases were detected in Penang and Kedah.
The new infections bring the total number of cases to 10,031, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said in a statement.
Twenty-six patients were discharged today, bringing the total number of recoveries to 9,235 .
There were 668 active cases, he said.
