Fed up, Sarawak DAP vice-chief quits party

(FMT) – A Sarawak DAP leader has announced he is quitting the party with immediate effect, citing his disillusionment with the direction of the party and how it is managed.

Wong King Wei, who is state assemblyman for Padungan and vice-chief of Sarawak DAP said he has grown “sick and tired” with some of the actions of the party and its members.

This includes the party’s intention to stand in the Batu Lintang seat in the coming state election. The seat was formerly contested by PKR, its ally in Pakatan Harapan.

“Why are you doing this to an ally of yours? Why can’t you just sit down with your ally and sort it out among yourselves?” Wong said.
