Saifuddin Abdullah questions integrity of previous Pakatan govt

(Yahoo News) – Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Abdullah has questioned the integrity of the previous Pakatan Harapan government.

Saifuddin had replied to a commentator on his Facebook page who had questioned the new Perikatan Nasional government.

Saifuddin added that Pakatan was too hypocritical as they got upset when there was a political appointee but had then appointed Cheras MP Tan Kok Wai as the special envoy to China.

“After they came into power, who became the special envoy to China?

“Who is sitting on the boards for the ports of Klang and Kuantan?

“I am the former foreign minister, I know who had begged the prime minister to appoint (Cheras MP) Tan Kok Wai. So what is the difference?” he asked.

However, checks by The Star found that Saifuddin’s Facebook comment has been taken down from his Facebook page.

Saifuddin was the foreign minister in the former Pakatan government.

The Perikatan government has been criticised for appointing political figures from Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia, Umno, and PAS as heads of government agencies and government-linked companies (GLCs).
