Sultan Muhammad V steps down as Agong

(The Star) – Sultan Muhammad V has stepped down as the 15th Yang di-Pertuan Agong, according to a statement from Istana Negara on Sunday (Jan 6).

The statement said his resignation is effective Sunday.
