It is because Najib refuses to divorce Rosmah

In 2013, Mahathir warned Najib that he has now been given a yellow card and that this is his last warning. In 2014, Mahathir gave Najib his red card and launched his move to oust Najib. In December 2014, the first shot was fired when Khairuddin Abu Hassan made his police report against Najib regarding 1MDB. And Mahathir blames Rosmah for Najib not listening to what he wants so she must be severely punished.

THE CORRIDORS OF POWER

Raja Petra Kamarudin

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said what they are doing to Rosmah Mansor has nothing to do with revenge (READ BELOW).

Mahathir said the same thing 20 years ago in 1998: that Anwar Ibrahim’s arrest for corruption and sodomy has nothing to do with revenge (at that time Anwar was plotting to oust Mahathir).

When Mahathir decided to make his move to oust Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi a.k.a. Pak Lah in 2006, it was actually because of Khairy Jamaluddin, Kamal Badawi, and Kalimullah Hassan. Khairy, Kamal and Kalimullah — and the late Kak Endon (Pak Lah’s wife, Tun Endon Mahmood Ambak, who died in 2005) — were known as Kerajaan 4K (the 4K Government) a.k.a. Tingkat Empat (Fourth Floor).

Mahathir’s real target was Khairy and his Fourth Floor boys

Mahathir was pissed that the Fourth Floor was actually running the country while Pak Lah was just their puppet-on-a-string. In fact, Pak Lah confided to an old school friend — who is also a well-known Malay writer — that without Khairy and his ‘brilliant young team from Harvard, Oxford and Cambridge’ on the Fourth Floor, he would have problems running the country.

That confession was enough to convince Mahathir that it was not Pak Lah but Khairy and his Fourth-Floor gang who made all the decisions.

Mahathir suspected that Kalimullah was a Singapore agent and when Pak Lah made the decision to cancel the Crooked Bridge at the behest of Singapore, Mahathir was even more convinced that Singapore had a spy in the Malaysian government in the form of Kalimullah — who Mahathir called ‘Hindu-God-Muslim-priest’ (Kali the god and Mullah the priest).

Mahathir was convinced Kalimullah was a Singapore agent

Kalimullah said he cried when Mahathir called him that, Hindu-God-Muslim-priest, while his family felt very hurt.

Mahathir was worried that if he ousted Pak Lah and replaced him with Najib Tun Razak, he is just going to replace a very problematic Khairy with an even worse Rosmah. Instead of having Khairy as the power behind the throne, you would now have Rosmah as the power behind the throne. So, Mahathir sent a message to Najib: divorce Rosmah if you want to become Prime Minister.

Of course, that is never going to happen in a million years and Najib told Mahathir this. So, Mahathir dropped Najib and started talking to Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah a.k.a. Ku Li. But then the problem is, Ku Li has a far bigger ego than Mahathir, and Mahathir’s ego is already huge to start off with. Hence Mahathir’s negotiations with Ku Li broke down and Mahathir had to go back to Najib.

Mahathir feels Rosmah was the real obstacle

Najib took over as Prime Minister in April 2009 and from the word go Mahathir could not control him. Reports began to filter back to Mahathir that Rosmah is the new Khairy. They got rid of Pak Lah to be able to get rid of Khairy. But now they have got someone ten times worse than Khairy in the form of Rosmah.

Dr M: Rosmah’s arrest is not about revenge

(The Sun Daily) – The arrest of Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor has nothing to do with revenge, Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said today.

It was carried out in accordance with the law, he said in response to the claim by Rosmah’s daughter, Nooryana Najib, that the government was “going too far” in arresting her mother.

“No one is above the law,” Mahathir said after an event in Putrajaya today.

“So, if anything is against the law, then the legal process will be carried out – that is our promise. There is no idea about revenge or anything like that.

“The law says if you take money or steal money, you will be charged in court. Whether the court agrees or not, that is a different matter.”

Rosmah has claimed trial to 17 charges, which include money laundering and failure to declare income to the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) said to be from the state sovereign fund 1 Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).
