De facto opposition leader Kit Siang very angry Umno not contesting Port Dickson

If Anwar wins the Port Dickson by-election almost unchallenged, his next step would be to make his move to take over as Prime Minister. And Lim suspects Anwar will not wait until 2020 to take over and may make his move before the end of this year itself.

THE CORRIDORS OF POWER

Lim Kit Siang is very angry that Umno is not contesting the Port Dickson by-election

The de facto opposition leader Lim Kit Siang is very angry that Umno is not fielding a candidate in the Port Dickson by-election. Today, DAP’s party organ reported Lim as saying that by not contesting what is now known as Langkah PD, it proves that all Umno is interested in is to gain power.

So, if Umno contests the Port Dickson by-election that means Umno is not interested in power but if Umno DOES NOT contest the Port Dickson by-election that means all Umno is interested in is power.

Anwar Ibrahim’s reason for triggering Langkah PD is NOT about getting into power. It is only about becoming the next Prime Minister or PM KE8. And becoming Prime Minister is NOT about getting into power (or else Anwar would not contest the Port Dickson by-election) but merely about serving the people just like what Mother Teresa did in India.

Anwar’s reason for becoming Prime Minister is not about power but to serve the Indians in Port Dickson just like what Mother Teresa did in India

Lim is actually angry that Umno is not contesting the Port Dickson by-election because that would guarantee Anwar is going to win with a very large majority and his challengers are not only going to lose but may even lose their deposits as well. And Lim does not want this to happen.

If Anwar wins the Port Dickson by-election almost unchallenged, his next step would be to make his move to take over as Prime Minister. And Lim suspects Anwar will not wait until 2020 to take over and may make his move before the end of this year itself.

With Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad as Prime Minister, DAP is able to bully him because Mahathir is weak with only about a dozen seats in Parliament. Hence Mahathir will give DAP whatever they ask for because Mahathir is not strong enough to say no to DAP.

Lim can tell Mahathir what to do but with Anwar he will talk Tamil to you and is as slimy as an eel

With Anwar, though, he has about 100 seats under his control — Umno and PAS seats included (or so he feels) but not including Sabah and Sarawak yet — versus PPBM’s and DAP’s 50 or so. Even with Sabah and Sarawak included, PPBM and DAP do not have enough seats to form the government.

Meanwhile, there is talk that Anwar’s pardon may have been unconstitutional and if so then he will have to return to prison to serve out his sentence. That will throw a spanner into the works and thwart Anwar’s move to take over as Prime Minister until five years AFTER he serves his sentence.

In politics anything is possible and one should expect the unexpected. And to see Anwar back in prison instead of taking over as PM KE8 is as real as today is Tuesday. Meanwhile, to distract Malaysians from the Langkah PD mess, they will arrest and charge Rosmah Mansor as a means to make people focus on something else.
