Nurul Izzah insults her father and Mahathir

All this arresting of Malay boys/men who drink or who check into hotel rooms with girls/women they are not married to (or with other boys/men) also has to stop. Before 1982 we could even park our car at Lake Gardens or Taman Jaya and have sex in the car. Now you do that and you will end up in jail. Anwar and his ABIM totally destroyed Malaysia, as Nurul Izzah herself has observed.

NO HOLDS BARRED

You can read PKR-Pakatan Harapan leader and Member of Parliament Nurul Izzah Anwar’s ‘open letter’ to Radiohead below, which she also tweeted.

Paragraph two of Nurul Izzah’s letter says that Malaysia has suffered two decades of political turmoil and upheaval, which means from 1998 to 2018. The two decades of political turmoil and upheaval, as Nurul describes it, can be broken down into three phases.

The two decades of political turmoil and upheaval that Nurul Izzah talks about is Mahathir getting rid of Anwar, Mahathir getting rid of Abdullah, and Mahathir getting rid of Najib

Phase one of the two decades of political turmoil and upheaval was for five years from 1998 to 2003. That was the period when Nurul Izzah’s father, Anwar Ibrahim, tried to oust Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and instead got ousted for his crimes of corruption-abuse of power and sodomy. That can be called the Reformasi era, which had adopted the ‘Undur Mahathir’, ‘Mahazalim’, Mahafiruan’, etc., war-cry.

On 1st November 2003, Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi took over as Prime Minister and ten months later Anwar was freed from jail. Anwar then disbanded the Reformasi movement and tried to return to Umno with the help of the Sarawak Governor, Taib Mahmud. Mahathir, however, blocked Anwar’s return to Umno so Abdullah backed down and Anwar had no choice but to take over the leadership of PKR instead.

Phase two of the two decades of political turmoil and upheaval was for three years from 2006 to 2009. That was the period when Mahathir tried to oust Abdullah. In April 2009, Abdullah handed power to Najib Tun Razak.

Phase three of the two decades of political turmoil and upheaval was for four years from 2014 to 2018. That was the period when Mahathir tried to oust Najib, which finally happened in May 2018 when Barisan Nasional lost GE14.

This was how we spent our nights before Anwar Islamised the country, as Nurul Izzah laments

Hence, the three phases of the two decades of political turmoil and upheaval that Nurul Izzah talks about were actually engineered by Mahathir. If not because of Mahathir the two decades from 1998 to 2018 would not have been turbulent. They would have been calm and peaceful years. But Mahathir created this turmoil and upheaval to stop Anwar from taking over and to oust Abdullah and Najib.

So, when Nurul Izzah talks about two decades of political turmoil and upheaval, she actually means the two decades of political turmoil and upheaval that Mahathir caused.

Paragraph three of Nurul Izzah’s letter is very interesting. She grumbles that for more than 60 years (which means since 1957) Malaysia had been governed by a government that does not allow ‘creative impression and dissent’.

Before 1982 you did not need to go to Thailand fo find ladyboys — you could find them all over Malaysia

That is not quite true. Before her father, Anwar, and his ABIM Taliban-extremists, Islamised Malaysia, we could pick up ladyboys along Jalan Raja Laut. We could go to Eastern Cabaret or BB Park and for RM0.50 dance with the ‘taxi girls’. For RM10 we could even bring these girls to our car for sex. Does anyone remember Rose Chan?

Muslims could drink in public and get drunk and even ask the Carlsberg girls to sit on our lap and pour our beer. We could go to the officers’ mess at the police quarters or army camps to get drunk and one can of beer was only RM0.50 because it was tax-free.

Since Anwar and his extremist ABIM burst onto the Malaysian scene, Malaysia is no longer free and everything comes under the scrutiny of the Islamic authorities, as Nurul Izzah grumbles. Hell, back in those days, to see a Malay girl in a tudung was very rare in the west coast. Today, even Nurul, her sisters, and mother, Dr Wan Azizah Ismail, dress up like nuns in the Vatican.

In the old days Malays could drink in public and ‘manja’ with the girls pouring our drinks, until Anwar and his ABIM Taliban-extremists came along

Malaysia has really gone to the dogs since Anwar joined Umno to Islamise the country in 1982. Before that, even the Prime Minister drank and gambled openly. For example, Tunku Abdul Rahman would never miss a day at the Turf Club to bet on the horse races even after he had retired as Prime Minister. Do that today and people will treat you like a pariah.

Anyway, it is good that Nurul Izzah announced that the days of restrictions and prohibition are over and that the ‘New’ Malaysia of Pakatan Harapan is now an open society. I hope Nurul’s government will now allow Malay girls to join beauty contests and for ladyboy shows and beauty contests to be allowed again.

Nowadays, since 1982, Malay girls and women all look like nuns
