Hadi says will snub PPBM over Pakatan entry

(MMO) – PAS will not entertain seat negotiations with Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia if the latter joins the Pakatan Harapan pact, said Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang.

The PAS president reiterated that his party will not work with allies of DAP and Amanah.

“Officially there is no cooperation, if that’s the official stand of [PPBM],” he was quoted saying by Sinar Harian in a press conference today.

PPBM chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad announced on Monday that the party will join Pakatan Harapan, but added that this on the condition that the pact adopted a unified identity for all member parties heading into the next general election.

PPBM president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said at the same press conference that his party will continue talks with PAS.
