Lim Guan Eng must be crazy…..

Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said he is not going to allow speed cameras in Penang because it is Ministers who don’t work who cause traffic accidents and not bad drivers. NST said: “Malaysia ranked 20th in road deaths” (http://www.nst.com.my/news/2015/09/malaysia-ranked-20th-road-deaths).

The UK is the most ‘wired’ country in the world and still about 1,700 people  die a year in traffic accidents against a population of 70 million. Malaysia sees 7,000 deaths a year against a population of only 30 million.

I am shocked someone like Guan Eng would make such a silly statement. Malaysians are amongst the worst drivers in the world and it is all because of poor law enforcement.

Guan Eng says the Minister should be blamed. In what way is he to be blamed? Can Guan Eng explain?

When the Minister attempts to do something and follow the example of the UK Guan Eng makes silly statements. Speed cameras do reduce traffic accident deaths and that has been proven in the UK.
