Commotion breaks out between Muhyiddin supporters and JMM members at RoS office

Nothing to Hide

(The Star) – Chaos erupted outside the Registrar of Societies (RoS) office here Tuesday when members of Jaringan Melayu Malaysia (JMM) called on Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to come clean on all accusations against him.

JMM secretary-general Hamdan Mohd Salleh, who was shooed off by followers of Muhyiddin, told reporters that the former deputy prime minister will need to prove his integrity if he intended to start a new party.

“We urge for Tan Sri to attend our ‘Nothing to Hide 2.0’ to clarify all the accusations against him.

“He just needs to tell us a date and time and we will organise a platform for him as he needs to explain about the Statutory Declaration (SD) which has now been brought to court,” he said.

Hamdan was referring to a statutory declaration filed by former deputy public prosecutor Stanley Clement Augustin who claimed that his wife Nika Gee Siew Yee admitted to having an ongoing affair with a prominent politician.
