(The Star) – The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) officers are raiding the home of Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng on Pinhorn Road here.

Earlier, Lim and his wife Betty Chew were at the MACC’s office.

They left the premises, accompanied by their lawyers RSN Rayer and Ramkarpal Singh Deo, at 2.55pm Sunday from the building in Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah.

The couple, accompanied by lawyers and MACC officers, reached Lim’s bungalow in four cars, about 15 minutes later.

A group of MACC officers are still at his home at press time.

It is learnt that Lim had cancelled all his events on Sunday to assist in the MACC probe.

Lim and Chew had recorded their statements with MACC two weeks ago over the purchase of the RM2.8mil bungalow and the Taman Manggis land sale.
