Mas Ermieyati: Terengganu Puteri Umno chief to be replaced

(Bernama) – There will be a change in the Terengganu Puteri Umno leadership, confirms Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsudin (pic).

The Puteri Umno chief said the wing’s central leadership made the decision during a meeting on Monday.

“However, due to the developments in Terengganu, we are deferring the leadership change temporarily,” she said Thursday night.

She was commenting on a letter saying that Besut Umno Puteri chief Erniesalwani Saidi had been appointed as the new Terengganu Puteri Umno head, which had gone viral on WhatsApp.

The current chief is Hulu Terengganu Puteri Umno chief Rozita Ismail.

Terengganu Umno is currently facing a challenge after Kijal assemblyman and former mentri besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Said turned “renegade”.
