(The Star) – 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) chairman Tan Sri Lodin Wok Kamaruddin (pic) will continue to testify before the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) on Wednesday.

This is because there are still some details that need to be clarified, said PAC chairman Datuk Hasan Arifin.

“Many things need to be looked into as he (Lodin) has been the chairman for a long time,” said Hasan at a press conference on Tuesday.

Lodin, who has been 1MDB chairman since October 2010, appeared before the PAC for three hours on Tuesday.

Proceedings will continue on Wednesday with Lodin set to appear before the committee at 9.30am.

Hasan said many things needed to be settled in order for the committee to complete its report on 1MDB in February and table it in Parliament the following month.

Asked if the company’s former-chairman Tan Sri Mohd Bakke Salleh would be called, Hasan said that would be dependent on the information provided by Lodin.

“Once Lodin has given his explanation, then we will decide if we need to call Bakke.

“Lodin has been the chairman for the longest time while Bakke only for two months.

“We will decide tomorrow,” said Hasan.

The Rompin MP also did not disclose the matters that were raised on Tuesday.

Last month, 1MDB president Arul Kanda Kandasamy was called to appear before the PAC.
