Pro-Umno portal alleges Dr M’s aide met with Justo
Mykmu.net says Dr M’s aide was among the 10 Malaysians who met with convicted Swiss national
(Free Malaysia Today) – A pro-Umno portal claimed that a special aide to former Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad was among the 10 Malaysians who met with Xavier Andre Justo.
Justo, a Swiss national, is currently serving three years in a Thai prison for blackmailing his former employer PetroSaudi International with stolen data, which was allegedly used to write critical reports on 1Malaysia Development Berhad.
Mahathir is among the chief critics of the state investment arm.
According to mykmu.net, Justo was believed to have named Sufi Yussof as the special aide. Sufi has been Mahathir’s aide since 2000.
The speculation, the portal wrote, came about after Bukit Aman Deputy CID director Amar Singh Ishar Singh interviewed Justo for 90 minutes in Bangkok, two days ago.
Others allegedly named, the portal reported, were former Batu Kawan Umno deputy divisional chief Khairudin Abu Hassan, Matthias Chang, DAP lawmaker Tony Pua and The Edge Media Group owner Tong Kooi Ong.
