(The Sun Daily) – PKR vice-president Tian Chua is confident in getting enough non-confidence votes against Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak in the next Parliament sitting.

In replying to a question after a coffeshop forum in Taman Seri Alam here, organised by Pakatan Harapan Baru, the Batu MP said that all member of Parliament should response to the people’s requirement and Royal statement.

“It is nothing to do the party, it is for the sake to save our nation, our economy and our future.

“Our people cannot wait, they will suffer because of the negative impacts of 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB),” he alleged.

Tian Chua said it is important to settle this issue first before all parties can compete in the next General Elections.

He said that while the Parliament need 112 votes from the MPs to pass the motion, Tian Chua pointed out that there is about 88 votes from the opposition MPs,

“I hope some MPs from Barisan Nasional will have common stand on this issues,” he added.

He said, while negotiations with non-opposition MPs are still going on, he also called upon ‘ousted’ Umno deputy president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin make his stand clear in this non-confidence vote.
