Rahman: Umno in no mood for outside busybodies
BN spokesman dismisses Liong Sik’s support for Mahathir against Najib
(Free Malaysia Today) – Umno members are in no mood for outsiders trying to dictate who should be their leader, Barisan Nasional spokesman Abdul Rahman Dahlan said today.
In an online comment, Rahman dismissed the former MCA president’s show of support for the campaign against Najib being waged by former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who wants to force Najib out of office.
He said Ling’s statement would only strenghen Najib’s position.
Ling, who served 17 years as transport minister in Mahathir’s government, said yesterday that he backed Mahathir’s call for Najib to go.
