The ‘dirt’ on Zaid Ibrahim

There are many other Chinese towkays who are behind Anwar and PKR, not just Robert Kuok Hock Nien — plus what’s his name, that Phileo chap? These people have given Anwar and PKR millions. Robert Kuok even gave Anwar an ang pau of RM250,000 for Nurul Izzah’s wedding.

THE CORRIDORS OF POWER

Raja Petra Kamarudin

I am actually glad that Rafizi Ramli exposed Zaid Ibrahim’s ‘dirt’ — if we can even call it that. Rafizi has more or less confirmed what I have been saying since 2010 regarding transgressions in the Pakatan Rakyat run states.

At first this was denied and I was even challenged to return to Malaysia with the evidence to prove what I had alleged. I did not need to do that, though, because over the last three-and-a-half years the evidence has been surfacing one by one.

On the allegation that PKR leaders or those lawyers close to PKR leaders have been monopolising the legal work and have been billing exorbitant amounts for very vague ‘work done’, the DAP people themselves have come out to grumble about it.

And now Rafizi himself admits that all these shenanigans are actually happening.

There is actually much more ‘dirt’ on so many other people that Rafizi has in his little bag of tricks. He will, of course, not reveal them now. But he will certainly reveal them if these people dare turn on Anwar or PKR. Then Rafizi will call for a press conference to reveal all this dirt that he is keeping on them.

More importantly, though, would be the question that they always ask me: why now? Why reveal this ‘dirt’ on Zaid so close to the by-election? Yes, that is the question they always ask me. Why now, so close to the by-election? Why not reveal it earlier, before you knew that the Kajang by-election was going to be held, and before you knew that Zaid was going to contest the by-election?

An even more important question would be: if Zaid was not contesting the Kajang by-election would you have revealed this ‘dirt’ on him? Let’s say that Zaid not only does not contest the Kajang by-election but let’s also say he actually announces that he supports Anwar Ibrahim and feels that Anwar should, in fact, take over from Khalid Ibrahim as the Menteri Besar. Would Rafizi reveal all this dirt he has kept on Zaid over the last four years?

That’s right. Rafizi had this ‘dirt’ on Zaid since the last four years. But he never revealed it. However, now that Zaid is contesting the Kajang by-election, Rafizi reveals this ‘dirt’. If not the ‘dirt’ would remain hidden and would have never been known until the end of time when Jesus comes back to earth to lead humankind.

I want to see whether Rafizi will now call for a press conference and reveal the ‘dirt’ he has on one-time PKR strategist and financier Datuk John Soh Chee Wen.

Yes, the famous (some say ‘infamous’) John Soh was once the man behind PKR’s ‘operations’. He directed the psy-war unit and planned the strategies that helped Anwar win the Permatang Pauh by-election in 2008 with the revelation by the Imam of the Wilayah Mosque, Ramlan Porigi. And Anwar’s majority doubled because of this.

Rafizi should reveal all the ‘dirt’ he has on John Soh in the interest of ‘transparency’. Why is this not being done? It is now six years. When are you going to do it? When John Soh contests one of the by-elections that PKR is also contesting?

There are many other Chinese towkays who are behind Anwar and PKR, not just Robert Kuok Hock Nien — plus what’s his name, that Phileo chap? These people have given Anwar and PKR millions. Robert Kuok even gave Anwar an ang pau of RM250,000 for Nurul Izzah’s wedding.

I suppose we will have to wait for these people to go against Anwar or PKR before we are going to be invited to Rafzi’s press conference where he will reveal all the dirt on them.

Transparency konon! Hogwash!
