Tindak Malaysia is organizing a Forum to give the EC, BERSIH 2.0 and an academic, Dr. Ong,  who has done much research on dubious voters in the electoral roll, to discuss the following:
Venue: PJ Civic Centre Auditorium,
Time: 8.30pm
Date: Tuesday April 24, 2012.

Forum: “How Clean will the 13th General Elections be?”

In light of the coming GE13, which some parties has claimed will be the dirtiest ever in our history, it is important that the EC be given an opportunity to lay to rest public concerns over this important issue. This is especially important since the EC members are selected from members of the public whom the Yang DiPertuan Agong consider as enjoying public confidence. Enjoying public confidence is an ongoing process that the EC has to constantly address. Otherwise, it can slip away very fast.

Its founder, Wong Piang Yow said the public forum is part of raising public awareness among fellow Malaysians on election reforms. This comes in light of the Prime Minister’s pledge on ntv7 on 9th Apr 2012 to hold clean and fair elections.

Dato Ambiga Sreenevasan, Wong Chin Huat and Ong Kian Ming have confirmed their attendance. We are still awaiting confirmation from the Election Commission Chairman, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof.

The moderator will be Syahredzan Johan, the Chairperson of the Bar Council Constitutional Law Committee.

“We would really look forward to the participation of the Election Commission Chairman to have a meaningful exchange,” Wong wrote in a letter addressed to the Election Commission Chairman, Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof.
