We peasants and rakyats can just salivate in front of a monopolized satellite TV, that is if the Sports Package is affordable enough.

They might not know that to just bring F1 to Sepang, the rakyat’s money, worth at least RM100million per year, has to be forked out to Bernie Ecclestone (the F1 supremo mafia) for the rights fee. The Gala Dinner alone would cost millions. That does not include the operating and promotional costs. Kementerian Belia & Sukan just mentioned that they will look into continuing to support F1 beyond the contracted year 2015. The rights fee is increasing every year at a certain percentage. So it could be at least RM150million by 2015. Mind you, that rakyat’s money is just for the rights fee.
Like many other UMNO leaders, Mokhzani cousin CEO Razlan Razali is plundering like nobody’s business. SPRM is toothless. Many stories including facts and evidence featured in RPK’s Malaysia Today falls onto deaf ears. Entrusted to approve of not more than RM500k per cheque, Razlan has cleverly kept the ‘procurement’ paper capped at just below the said figure. This way he doesn’t have to present the paper to the GLC’s Board Of Directors for approval as they are all under RM500k. This has been going on for four years since he helmed the racing track.
