RPK should be here for his son, says friend

(The Star) PETALING JAYA: Malaysia Today editor Raja Petra Kamarudin has been advised to leave his life of luxury in London and return home to look after his son who has been charged with theft.

Former PKR Youth exco member and Federal Territory Youth chief Azwanddin Hamzah said Raja Petra, better known as RPK, should come home to deal with the issues surrounding him and not find ways to escape.

Azwanddin, who is a close friend of Raja Petra, said he would advise him to return and care for his only son, Raja Azman Raja Petra, who pleaded guilty to four separate counts of theft.

“I do feel sorry for his son,” he said yesterday.

“RPK should look after his son and not live a life of luxury with his wife in London. Surely, there is a way to see to his problems if he comes back.”
