FROM THE MACC FILES Part 9: Guan Eng owns 10% of the Penang undersea tunnel land-swap deal

DAP in Crisis: The Penang Undersea Tunnel Corruption Scandal

Now, everyone knows Ewe Swee Kheng is Lim Guan Eng’s proxy. That is not a secret. So how much of that 60% is Swee Kheng actually holding under trust for Guan Eng? Swee Kheng told the MACC that 10% of that 60% belongs to Guan Eng. So, in essence, not only is Guan Eng being paid 10% of the RM6.3 billion tunnel cost, he is also getting 10% of the entire project.

The Penang State Government paid RM305 million to do the feasibility study for the Penang undersea tunnel. As State Works Committee chairman Lim Hock Seng said (READ BELOW), the feasibility study was paid via a land swap or via a land alienation.

Guan Eng owns 10% of Swee Kheng’s 60% share while Zarul owns the balance 40%

In fact, the land that was used to ‘swap’ for part of the cost of the Penang undersea tunnel had a gross development value of RM15 billion. By the time the tunnel is completed and the land is fully developed a few years down the road, we are looking at a value of at least RM50 billion.

Yes, RM50 billion. The Penang State Government gave away something with a potential worth of RM50 billion for an undersea tunnel worth RM6.3 billion. Hence this is far bigger than 1MDB.

Why is Lim Guan Eng making so much noise about 1MDB when his Penang undersea tunnel scandal is bigger? And why is Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad not screaming at his Finance Minister the way he screams at Najib Tun Razak?

If Najib is a kleptocrat, as Lim Kit Siang says, his own son, Guan Eng, is Bapa Kleptocrat. Kit Siang tak malu ke? Anak dia perompak yang terbesar di Malaysia.

Lim Kit Siang is maintaining an elegant silence after the revelation that his own son is involved in a far bigger scandal than 1MDB

No wonder of late Kit Siang has been at a loss for words and has kept his big mouth shut. He knows his son is involved in the biggest scandal since GE14 and what Guan Eng did may trigger DAP’s and Pakatan Harapan’s downfall.

In Zarul Ahmad Mohd Zulkifli’s statement to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) in January 2018, he reveals that he holds 40% of the development project while Ewe Swee Kheng of Ewein Bhd holds 60%. And this land has a gross development value of RM15 billion or a potential value of RM50 billion a few years down the road by the time everything is fully completed.

Now, everyone knows Swee Kheng is Guan Eng’s proxy.

Zarul Ahmad told the MACC that Guan Eng’s proxy, Swee Kheng, owns 60% of the project while he only owns 40%

Zarul Ahmad told the MACC that Swee Kheng owns 60% of the project and Swee Kheng, on the other hand, told the MACC that 10% of that 60% belongs to Guan Eng and that he is holding it for Guan Eng under trust.

More interesting is regarding Zarul Ahmad’s confession that RM22 million of that RM305 million feasibility study was actually used to bribe the MACC to close the investigation and mark the file NFA (no further action). No wonder the feasibility study is so high. It includes a RM22 million bribe to the MACC to close the corruption investigation.
