Guan Eng to respond to blogger’s allegations on tunnel probe tomorrow

(FMT) – Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng today said he would respond to allegations raised by a controversial blogger tomorrow.

Lim said this when approached by reporters after an event here. He declined to elaborate.

Blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin had recently published several blog posts on the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission’s (MACC) investigation papers into the tunnel and related road projects, estimated to cost RM6.3 billion.

Several Penang state executive councillors were implicated in the investigations, according to these blog posts.

Responding to the blog posts, Deputy Chief Minister II P Ramasamy had said he was ready to give evidence in court if there was proof that he was involved in corrupt practices over the tunnel project.
