Sodomy 3.0, the obstacle to Anwar becoming Prime Minister
In other words, if Anwar makes his move against Mahathir, they will make their move against him. And this is what Anwar means when he said, “I don’t want to talk about it.” He is not worried about Sodomy 1.0 or Sodomy 2.0. He is worried about Sodomy 3.0, which is going to prevent him from becoming Prime Minister in 2020, or for that matter any time in the future.

No more questions on past sodomy cases, says Anwar
(FMT) – PKR president Anwar Ibrahim today said he will not entertain any more questions from the media relating to his past sodomy cases, especially if they pit him against Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad. Speaking to reporters after launching the PKR Lembah Pantai service centre, Anwar repeated that he and Mahathir had decided to work together.
“I will not be provoked into anything that may turn into a rancorous exchange with Mahathir. Our priority is to work for a better Malaysia and not to make it an Anwar versus Mahathir fight,” he said, when asked to comment about Mahathir’s statement in London.
Anwar sees the job of Prime Minister drifting farther and farther away
Anwar says he does not want to answer any more questions regarding his previous sodomy cases, meaning Sodomy 1.0 and Sodomy 2.0. Anwar was responding to Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s statement in Oxford, UK, where the Prime Minister said ‘the law stipulates that if one commits a wrong, one will be charged and tried in a court of law, and it is the judges who decide’.
In other words, Mahathir is telling the audience that it was the judges and not he who jailed Anwar for sodomy on two occasions. Hence Mahathir is innocent of Anwar’s two sodomy convictions and jail terms.
Even DAP’s ‘Rocket’ has questions for Anwar
What is interesting to note is that Mahathir never said Anwar is innocent of the crimes of sodomy. Mahathir merely said he (Mahathir) is innocent and is not guilty of jailing Anwar. Anwar was convicted and jailed by the judges.
In short, if Anwar is not guilty, the judges would not have convicted him and sentenced him to jail. The judges would never convict an innocent person and send him or her to jail. Hence Anwar must be guilty of sodomy.
Mahathir implied that the court would not have jailed Anwar if he is innocent
This is vintage Mahathir and if you have been following his statements and speeches over the last 50 years since 1969 (like I have), you will know that in every message there is an underlying message — tersurat dan tersirat, as the Malays would say.
You need to also analyse Mahathir’s statement based on when, where and why he said this. Mahathir was responding to a question on why he jailed Anwar. So, he said he did not jail Anwar but the court did. In other words, if he had jailed Anwar then it would have political implications. But the courts rule based on evidence and not politics. So, this means Anwar must be guilty. If not, the courts would have not jailed him.
It is the judges who jailed Anwar, explains Mahathir
This was actually very clever and the question they posed to Mahathir was turned into his favour and put Anwar in a very bad light. But this is not what concerns Anwar. What concerns him is not Sodomy 1.0 or Sodomy 2.0 but Sodomy 3.0.
There is a certain house located behind Dewan Bahasa in Kuala Lumpur that has been turned into the ‘Sodomy 3.0 Task Force’ headquarters. A team is gathering evidence regarding Anwar’s latest sodomy crimes (yes crimes, plural) with a view to use it if Anwar ever tries to oust Mahathir.
