SRC trial: High Court sets July 28 to deliver decision on Najib
(NST) – The High Court will on July 28 decide whether Datuk Seri Najib Razak is guilty of seven charges of misappropriating RM42 million in SRC International Sdn Bhd funds.
Judge Mohd Nazlan Mohd Ghazali fixed the date after hearing submissions from both parties at the end of the defence case.
On Nov 11, last year, Najib was called to enter his defence on the seven charges.
Najib, 67, is facing three counts of criminal breach of trust (CBT), one charge of abusing his position and three counts of money-laundering involving SRC International funds amounting to RM42 million.
