Pakatan brought down Pakatan
The thing is, the Pakatan Harapan people were not sure they could win GE15. They thought they would be a one-term government. Hence, they needed to make as much money as possible in just five years. However, they did not realise they would not be in power for five years but for less than two years. If not, they would have fast-forwarded the corruption and would have sapu all the money at double the speed.

Since Pakatan Harapan collapsed we have been reading many commentaries and opinion pieces regarding the matter. They talk about the betrayal, the traitors, the self-interest politicians, the unholy alliance, the peoples’ mandate, the kleptocratic government, the racist Umno, the extremist PAS, and so much more.
Malaysia is beginning to sound like North Korea and China, or Russia in the old days. They play with slogans and use propaganda and indoctrination to make the people believe “we” are right and “they” are wrong.
But who are “we” and “they”?
The truth is it was not Muafakat Nasional, or Umno and PAS, who brought down Pakatan Harapan. It was Pakatan Harapan who brought down Pakatan Harapan. Muafakat Nasional just took advantage of a golden opportunity served to them on a silver platter. Is this not what you are supposed to do in politics?
The Chinese keep saying that Sun Tzu was a brilliant Chinaman, although long dead, and that we should learn from him. Well, the Malays have done just that. But then why do the Chinese not also learn from Sun Tzu? What Muafakat Nasional did was what any good student of Sun Tzu would do. Nothing more, nothing less.
Pakatan Harapan was having an internal war. They were fighting amongst themselves. When Tun Mahathir Mohamad resigned as Prime Minister (without naming his heir) and pulled PPBM out of the coalition, the government collapsed.

What has Muafakat Nasional got to do with this? It was not Muafakat Nasional who asked Mahathir to resign and hand power to Anwar Ibrahim immediately. It was not Muafakat Nasional who scolded Mahathir during the Pakatan Harapan presidential council meeting. It was not Muafakat Nasional who hurt Mahathir’s feelings by being rude and arrogant towards him. So why blame Muafakat Nasional for the collapse of the Pakatan Harapan government?
PM7 was from PPBM. PM8 is also from PPBM. PM8 is not from Muafakat Nasional, or from Umno or PAS. So, what’s the big deal? And whether PM7 or PM8, both were originally from Umno and still have the Umno DNA — whether it is Mahathir Mohamad, Muhyiddin Yassin, Anwar Ibrahim, Azmin Ali, Mukhriz Mahathir, Daim Zainuddin, Shafie Apdal, Kadir Jasin, or whoever.
DAP talks about the 61 years of rot, and they say the rot got worse since 1981, and that Malaysia got “saved” in May 2018. Who were those running the country from 1981? Are they not the same people who are or were in Pakatan Harapan? And is DAP saying they “saved” Malaysia in 2018 by working with the same people who, according to DAP, destroyed the country?
Dr Mahathir committed hara kiri and brought Pakatan Harapan down with him
In his last press conference, a couple of days ago, Mahathir said Muhyiddin is an extremely corrupt person. Mahathir said Muhyiddin did so much harm when he was the Johor Menteri Besar that he had to be brought back to the federal government and made a cabinet minister to stop him from destroying Johor.
So, there you go. That came from Mahathir’s mouth just a couple of days ago. What does DAP have to say about that? DAP’s Prime Minister, Dr Mahathir, said that the president of PPBM, Muhyiddin, is so corrupt that he had to be removed as the Johor Menteri Besar and brought back to Kuala Lumpur to stop him from causing more damage.

Mahathir and Anwar fought fiercely over the post of PM8 and Muhyiddin won
There is a saying: when stuck in a hole, stop digging. Lim Kit Siang, Lim Guan Eng, Mahathir Mohamad, Anwar Ibrahim, and all those other Pakatan Harapan leaders should just stop talking. The more they talk the worse it gets. It is beginning to sound like Hitler talking about love, peace and good will towards all men (Luke 2:14). How hollow that will sound.
DAP dan orang-orang yang sewaktu dengannya have lost the moral high ground and the moral right to talk. That is like Rose Chan talking about chastity. Maybe 61 years of Umno saw a lot of corruption, as DAP says, but in just 21 months in power, Pakatan Harapan has committed more corrupt acts than Umno could have done in one term.
Yes, Malaysians think the Pakatan Harapan people are like nuns. Wait until the new Perikatan Nasional government reveals the transgressions, abuse of power and corruption that were committed by the Pakatan Harapan government over the last 21 months. You are going to be very surprised by the greed demonstrated by the Pakatan Harapan people.
