Was Najib behind Altantuya’s murder?

Anyway, if the police want, I can also give them my statement or sign a statutory declaration naming those Special Branch bosses who told me they had investigated the matter and can confirm that Najib is not involved in the murder. I am not trying to escape a death sentence so my statutory declaration should be more believable.

NO HOLDS BARRED

Raja Petra Kamarudin

It appears that Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has been told that, going by how the SRC International and 1MDB trials are going, they might not be able to nail Najib Tun Razak for stealing billions after all. They might not even be able to nail him for stealing RM42 million, let alone RM42 billion.

According to those in Anwar Ibrahim’s circle, based on what they told me, Anwar has offered Najib an olive branch. If Najib can get a large enough number of Umno MPs, plus the PAS MPs, to support Anwar to become PM8 on or before May 2020, then, once Anwar becomes prime minister, they will sort out Najib’s legal issues.

They seem to have problems nailing Najib for allegedly stealing RM42 billion

Najib’s cousin, Hishammuddin Tun Hussein, is moving in the opposite direction, lamented Najib’s people. He is trying to swing the Umno MPs in the direction of Mahathir, which is the reason for the recent meeting in Azmin Ali’s home in Putrajaya.

Anyway, the long and short of it is they need to nail Najib on some other matter if they want to end his political career because the SRC International and 1MDB cases may not be enough after all to bury Najib for good.

And this is where the Altantuya Shaariibuu murder case comes in.

I was detained without trial in September 2008 for alleging in a statutory declaration that Rosmah Mansor was involved in Altantuya’s murder. The allegation I made was that Rosmah was at the scene of the crime the night Altantuya was murdered.

The Special Branch convinced me that Najib is innocent and a victim of fitnah

My allegation was based on feedback from Nik Azmi a.k.a. Bul (who worked for Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah) and John Pang (a member of Khairy Jamaluddin’s “fourth floor boys”). The accuracy of the information was verified by Din Merican (who was working for Anwar).

During my detention in 2008, the Special Branch interrogated me on the source of my information and I told them the three people who gave me the story and who verified its accuracy (Bul, John Pang and Din Merican). The police then met these three people to record their statements.

The Special Branch told me that the story regarding Najib’s involvement in Altantuya’s murder or the story about Rosmah’s presence at the scene of the crime are not true. They then showed me photographs of Rosmah being at a function in Tabung Haji’s building in Jalan Ampang the time that Altantuya was murdered in the jungles of Shah Alam.

IGP Hamid Bador can confirm the Special Branch investigated Najib and found him innocent of murder

In short, Rosmah had an alibi and hundreds of witnesses could testify to that. Hence there was no way Rosmah could be in Jalan Ampang and in the jungles of Shah Alam both at the same time.

Regarding Najib being behind Altantuya’s murder, the Special Branch had investigated the matter thoroughly and Najib is clean, they told me. One of those Special Branch officers is the current IGP, Abdul Hamid Bador, but I can name three more Special Branch bosses who personally spoke to me to convince me that Najib was not even remotely involved in the murder.

So, there you have it. The Special Branch says Najib is not involved in Altantuya’s murder. Now, one of the convicted murderers, Azilah Hadri, confesses that he did, in fact, murder Altantuya after all, after for more than ten years denying he was one of the murders.

They now need to hang Azilah to prove his confession is not to escape the death sentence

Azilah’s confession of murdering Altantuya means there is no longer any reason to not send him to the gallows. Since he has confessed he murdered Altantuya, they can hang him tomorrow without any further delay.

If they pardon Azilah or commute his death sentence that will render his confession as suspect. If they hang him then his confession would look very strong. No one can then say he confessed to escape the death sentence.

Anyway, if the police want, I can also give them my statement or sign a statutory declaration naming those Special Branch bosses who told me they had investigated the matter and can confirm that Najib is not involved in the murder. I am not trying to escape a death sentence so my statutory declaration should be more believable.
