Guan Eng to Hadi: Show proof that DAP sought foreign intervention
(The Star) – DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng has asked PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang to show proof that the DAP sought foreign intervention in the country’s affairs.
“I regret that he made a baseless claim, which can even be considered slander against DAP that we colluded with the United States to intervene in politics or our country’s affairs.
“This was not supported with proof. He did not mention which leader.
“So I regard this as another slander by him,” Lim, who is also Penang Chief Minister, told a press conference at Komtar Thursday.
Lim also urged Hadi to name the DAP leader who was involved in seeking foreign intervention.
Hadi was quoted in a daily on Wednesday as accusing the DAP of “inviting” the United States and other foreign countries to interfere in the country’s political affairs.
