Abdul Rahman: Kit Siang ‘demonised’ himself
(MMO) – DAP parliamentary leader Lim Kit Siang should stop blaming others for a fault of his own making, Barisan Nasional (BN) strategic communications chief Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Dahlan said today.
He added that the Gelang Patah MP should accept responsibility after failing to topple the BN in the last 13 general elections by retiring and make way for national DAP vice-chairman Tan Seng Giaw.
“Tan Seng Giaw is known as a gentleman politician and a man with principles unlike Lim Kit Siang.
“Lim Kit Siang’s own actions have demonised himself and therefore he should not blame others, Abdul Rahman said in a statement.
He added that Tan was more popular than Lim and was the most accepted DAP leader among the different races.
Abdul Rahman was responding to Lim’s statement yesterday claiming that he had been “demonised” by several mainstream news outlets in a politically-engineered campaign to kill his career before the 14th general election due by June next year.
