Go ahead, sue Hadi, PAS man tells Kit Siang

DAP has been anti-Islam even during Pakatan Rakyat days, claims PAS leader.

(FMT) – Go ahead and sue Abdul Hadi Awang, a PAS leader has told DAP’s Lim Kit Siang, saying the Islamic party would prove that Lim was indeed anti-Islam in court.

PAS Dewan Ulama info chief Khairuddin Aman Razali said it was good for Lim to sue Hadi so that Lim’s actions could be revealed.

“Please Kit Siang, sue Hadi. Kit Siang is indeed anti-Islam. He has also gone against the amendment of the Syariah Court bill, which is ultimately to fortify Islam.

“There are more things. We challenge Kit Siang to bring this matter to court. Please sue. We will reveal more about DAP’s act of going against Islam,” Khairuddin told FMT.

Yesterday, Lim said he would look to take Hadi to court, as a matter of principle, for calling him anti-Islam as this was a serious allegation. However, Lim said he would still be open to talks with Hadi and PAS to work together.

Meanwhile, Khairuddin continued to pour scorn on Lim, saying when PAS was a part of Pakatan Rakyat before, the DAP was anti-Islam.

“It is up to him to deny this. All the DAP’s actions, as long as we were friends, he was anti-Islam. That is why we have decided to cut ties with DAP in Pakatan Rakyat,” Khairuddin said.

He added: “The use of the word Allah in the Malay bible, issue of unilateral conversion by a father which is allowed under the constitution… there is many more to show.

“Whatever that is intended to strengthen Islam’s stand, Kit Siang would cucuk (poke) and provoke,” Khairuddin said.
