Why is Bahri no longer so talkative?
Bahri used to talk so much when he was still in the MACC. Now he is very quiet and refuses to open his mouth. Why does he not respond to what has been said about him over the last one week? Is that RM100 million worth of assets he is tying to get back from his brother-in-law’s widow his or is it harta anak yatim? Why is he not telling us?
NO HOLDS BARRED

Over the last one week we reported about Bahri Mohamad Zain’s transgression in the following articles:
Bahri’s proxy went and died and now RM100 million is stuck

Bahri parked RM100 million under his second wife’s brother
Bahri was the senior MACC officer who talks so much. He talks as much as a politician does, which led many to suspect he was going to retire from the MACC and contest the next general election on a Pakatan Harapan ticket. True enough, he did retire, but whether he is going to contest the next general election as a Pakatan Harapan candidate is left to be seen.
Anyway, Bahri did not retire so that he can contest the coming general election. He retired because he got caught abusing his power when his brother-in-law’s widow from his second wife made two police reports against him. In short, he got caught with his pants down and had to ‘retire early’ or else go to jail for a number of years.
Noraihan made two police reports against Bahri
The whole incident revolves around RM100 million in assets which Bahri parked under Muhamad Zamly Abdullah, his brother-in-law from his second wife, Noor Haslina Abdullah. Zamly died and the widow, Noraihan Che Ali, refuses to hand over those RM100 million worth of assets. So Bahri used the MACC to raid Noraihan’s house to confiscate all the documents related to the RM100 million assets.
You can view the documents related to this incident below.
Bahri used to be a most talkative MACC officer who had so much to say. He was talking more than Tony Pua and Rafizi Ramli combined and we all know how talkative those two Pakatuns are. Tony Pua and Rafizi Ramli suffer from verbal diarrhoea or what the Malays would call mulut lazer. They talk so much that they contradict themselves and talk themselves into a corner and eventually got arrested and charged for saying what they should not have said.
Tony Pua and Rafizi Ramli ended up saying the wrong thing once too many times so they eventually clammed up. So Bahri took over and started talking like nobody’s business about this, that and the other. He is a pious Muslim. He is just doing all this for Allah. His conscience cannot allow him to keep quiet. He is retiring from the MACC because of principles and because his conscience will not allow him to continue serving the MACC.
Kit Siang seems to have lost his tongue
And now we find out that he was asked to go because he was caught with his pants down and if he does not go then the MACC will have to take action against him. In other words, go quietly and quickly and the MACC will sweep everything under the carpet and pretend that nothing has happened. Hmm…does that not make the MACC an accomplice or collaborator to Bahri’s crime? Those who hide a crime are equally guilty of the crime. You become an accessory after the fact (if you are not already an accessory to the crime).
Anyway, in 2015 Bahri was transferred out of the MACC and Lim Kit Siang raised hell (READ THE NEWS ITEM BELOW). Now that it has been revealed that Bahri is a crook, Kit Siang is keeping very quiet and has not uttered a single word. Why is Kit Siang not saying anything any longer like back in 2015?
In 2015 Kit Siang was defending Bahri like there was no tomorrow. When Bahri announced he is leaving the MACC and is taking early retirement because of his conscience and because of Allah, everyone sang his praises and called him a towering Malaysian who should be given a Pakatan Harapan seat to contest in the next general election.
Now, suddenly, everyone is very quiet. No one is saying anything. Kit Siang who wrote 5,000 words in his last three blog postings about Joseph Goebbels does not even have one word to say about Bahri. And Bahri himself who usually talks so much has gone underground and is keeping way below the radar.
Kit Siang wrote 5,000 words about Goebbels but not a single word about Bahri
Come on, Bahri, speak up! What do you have to say about the RM100 million and the raid you conducted on Noraihan’s house?
In the first place, tell us whether that RM100 million belongs to you or to your brother-in-law. If it belongs to you then where did you get that RM100 million and why hide it under your brother-in-law’s name? If it does not belong to you then it is harta anak yatim. So why are you trying to steal it?
In Islam, stealing harta anak yatim is very serious crime. Even people with no principles and little ethics would stop short of stealing harta anak yatim. But then, if it is not harta anak yatim and the RM100 million belongs to you, then you have further explanations to do.
Meanwhile let us see whether Kit Siang still has anything to say in Bahri’s defence like back in 2015. Or has Kit Siang dumped Bahri for good? Knowing Kit Siang, if you are no longer of any use to him he would not touch you with a ten-foot pole.

Revoke transfer of MACC officers: Lim Kit Siang
(The Sun Daily, 8 Aug 2015) – The transfer of the two senior Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) officers to the Prime Minister’s Department should be revoked with immediate effect.
In expressing this, DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang in his blog today said the two officers, Special Operations director Datuk Bahri Mohamad Zain and Strategic director Datuk Rohaizad (pic above), were the two latest 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) catastrophe.
He said the two officers’ transfer “cannot stand unless (Datuk Seri) Najib wants to see the total destruction of his entire six-year National Transformation Programmes” that lists the war against corruption as one of the seven National Key Result Areas of the Government Transformation Programme.
The Gelang Patah MP added that although a Special Task Force comprised of the MACC, Bank Negara and the Attorney-General’s Chambers was tasked to investigate into the 1MDB issue and the alleged RM2.6 billion in Najib’s personal account, it has come to naught.
Kit Siang went on to question if it was a ‘heinous crime’ to Rohaizad, who had received support from DAP, PKR and NGO Gerakan Harapan Baru members in Parliament recently.
“Is this a heinous crime and act of disloyalty and treachery to warrant summary disciplinary action?” he questioned.
He also questioned Najib if the latter was aware that the transfer orders were issued yesterday, which resulted in MACC deputy chief commissioner Datuk Seri Mohd Shukri Abdul’s appeal to the United States via WhatsApp to replace the two officers with him instead.
He went on to question Minister in the Prime Minister’s department Datuk Seri Paul Low for not standing up and for failing to uphold the three principles under his portfolio, accountability, transparency and good governance.
“Let Najib halt this rush of madness and immediately countermand the transfer orders to the MACC directors, Bahri and Rohaizad to the PM’s department!” he said.
