Wan Azizah rejects the Save Boboi campaign
So Wan Azizah knows that saving Malaysia has nothing to do with this. The Mahathir-Kit Siang alliance, a.k.a. Save Malaysia campaign, is basically two fathers trying to save their sons. One wants to save his son’s political career and the other wants to save his son from going to jail, which will also end his political career.
THE CORRIDORS OF POWER

Malay Mail Online reported that Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail does not support the Save Malaysia campaign (SEE NEWS ITEM BELOW). And she reveals her reasons for doing so.
“I regret Dr Mahathir should choose to continue to express rancour and venom against Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. This persists despite Anwar’s magnanimity in forgiving Mahathir’s previous excesses. But when he chose to repeat the scurrilous attacks on Anwar’s character using the same institutions he had helped control and wield influence over, and now chooses to attack, I think that is nothing short of being unacceptable,” Dr Wan Azizah said.
So, are Wan Azizah’s personal feelings and her animosity towards Mahathir allowing her to stand in the way of saving Malaysia? It is like people telling me that my personal quarrel with Anwar should not stand in the way of a ‘greater cause’, which is fighting to save Malaysia.
Maybe those Pakatuns should tell Wan Azizah this instead of telling me that I must put aside my differences with Anwar and support Pakatan Harapan as a personal sacrifice for the country. Yeah, right! And this is also what those Pakatan people are doing — which is why they are fighting amongst themselves and are calling each other nasty names and are trying to oust one another to gain power.
Actually, Wan Azizah already did not support the Save Malaysia campaign much earlier than that — much earlier than when Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad made that disparaging statement against Anwar a few days ago; calling him immoral and not suitable to become Malaysia’s Prime Minister, etc.
In fact, Wan Azizah also did not support the Citizens’ Declaration or attend its signing ceremony and refused to share the stage with Mahathir in any of the events and functions.
Of course, Wan Azizah could not tell us why earlier. But now that Mahathir has fired his shot and called Anwar immoral and not suitable to become Malaysia’s Prime Minister and so on, this opens the way for her to use this as an excuse as to why she does not support the Save Malaysia campaign without being called a sell-out, traitor, turncoat, etc.
Basically, when Lim Kit Siang and Tun Dr Mahathir sat down to moot and launch the Save Malaysia campaign, it was not so much to save Malaysia but more to save Boboi. And Wan Azizah knows that this so-called Save Malaysia campaign is actually a Save Boboi campaign.
Kit Siang wants to save his Boboi, Lim Guan Eng, from a possible jail sentence regarding the KLIDC land scandal, where new evidence now reveals that what we were earlier told is not the entire truth (READ HERE). Mahathir, in turn, wants to save his Boboi, Mukhriz, whose chances of becoming the next Deputy Prime Minister, let alone the next Prime Minister, is diminishing by the day.
In that sense Wan Azizah has chosen the moral high ground. And if she has chosen the moral high ground and is opposed to the Mahathir-Kit Siang so-called Save Malaysia campaign, then in essence what she is saying is that the Save Malaysian campaign is immoral.
That is basically the long and short of it all. But, of course, you can always disagree with that and call Wan Azizah a sell-out, traitor, turncoat, and so on, if you wish, and what Pakatuns would normally call you if you do not support them or you disagree with them.

Why Dr Wan Azizah won’t have anything to do with Dr M-led Save Malaysia group
(Malay Mail Online) – PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail has unsheathed her claws against Save Malaysia frontliner Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, revealing at last her reasons for refusing to join the movement seeking to oust the ruling coalition.
The mild-mannered Dr Wan Azizah, who replaced Anwar as opposition leader after her husband was jailed for sodomy last year, previously stated she would not be a part of the non-partisan movement but was coy on why she stayed away.
She opened up to Malay Mail Online yesterday, after Dr Mahathir’s interview with The Australian, where the former prime minister said that Anwar did not have the morals to lead the country.
“I regret Dr Mahathir should choose to continue to express rancour and venom against Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. This persists despite Anwar’s magnanimity in forgiving Mahathir’s previous excesses.”
“But when he chose to repeat the scurrilous attacks on Anwar’s character using the same institutions he had helped control and wield influence over, and now chooses to attack, I think that is nothing short of being unacceptable,” Dr Wan Azizah said.
Dr Mahathir has in the past repeatedly attacked Anwar’s character and used the latter’s sodomy charges to justify why he could never become prime minister.
In the same interview with the Australian paper, Dr Mahathir also said Anwar — who will be 69 in August — is “too old” to become the country’s next prime minister.
Dr Wan Azizah also sought to explain her position regarding the Save Malaysia group which has been endorsed by other federal opposition lawmakers as well as civil society leaders and even some Barisan Nasional (BN) veterans.
