Azmin denies PKR says it is willing to work with Najib: only Azizah said it

(The Star) – PKR did not say they were willing to work with the Prime Minister, says Datuk Seri Azmin Ali.

Speaking to reporters in Parliament on Monday, the party deputy president said he had clarified with Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail on the issue.

“I clarified with Datuk Azizah today, what was said yesterday was that Keadilan was willing to work with anybody committed to the reform.

“No name mentioned,” he said sternly.

When reporters tried to clarify the statement with Dr Wan Azizah, she declined to elaborate and walked away.

On Sunday, Dr Wan Azizah had said that she was willing to work with the Prime Minister to save Malaysia but under certain conditions.

“We will not work together if doing so will bring losses to the country and the people,” she told reporters after attending a seminar on women empowerment.
