Chegubard faces PKR disciplinary board
(The Rakyat Post) – Prominent PKR member Badrul Hisham Shaharin has left it to the party’s disciplinary board to “expose” alleged wrongdoings of Selangor Menteri Besar and PKR deputy president, Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali in the alleged awarding of logging areas without going through a open tender process.
This follows a one-and-a-half hour hearing that Badrul Hisham Shaharin, better known as Chegubard, had held with the board yesterday in which he had submitted documents as evidence to support his claim.
“I have proven that Azmin had lied in the matter. And now it is up to the disciplinary board to act or expose the said document,” claimed Chegubard in a posting on Facebook yesterday.
Chegubard, who is also youth non-governmental organisation Solidariti Anak Muda Malaysia (SAMM) chief, said this was the first time he had been called to face the board despite lodging dozens of complaints since 2010.
“I have tabled my complaints made on Sept 10 (last year). Released as best as I could, as I even extended my tabling with the latest case whereby a “SECRET” labelled document proved that there was no open tender process.”
He said he was accompanied to the hearing by SAMM member Faizal Mejik who was among over a dozen individuals who had filed complaints against Mohamed Azmin, alleging that the latter had slandered the party president of practicing cronyism and nepotism after the 13th General Elections, disappointed with not being given the Menteri Besar post.
Meanwhile, the board’s chairman Brigadier general (R) Datuk Abdul Hadi Abdul Khatab, who confirmed the meeting with Chegubard said the probe was still in its initial stages.
“It’s only a preliminary investigation,” he told The Rakyat Post when contacted today.
