(Malay Mail Online) – Pakatan Rakyat (PR) MPs are planning a protest for the event jailed Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is not allowed to attend next week’s parliamentary session, PKR said today.

The party’s secretary-general Rafizi Ramli said chief parliamentary whips for PKR, DAP and PAS have discussed the matter and will publicly reveal the details of the protest before next week.

“There are some plans specific to protest if there is an unjust decision regarding Anwar’s (attendance in Parliament) that Pakatan Rakyat MPs will take… It is better to leave it to the chief whips,” Rafizi told reporters at a news conference here.

“The protest actions were discussed much earlier than the application for royal pardon,” he added.
