Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the truest of them all?
First, the ex-CJ must respond to the twist screwed in by the Tun now. If it is proven that the Tun is lying, then it means treason of the highest order.

It looks set for Malaysia’s political tsunami to finally crash land in the country. No, no it has nothing to do with NGOs or the rakyat anymore. This time, it is the forces that be that are on collision course.
This time the crescendo is the raging battle between the former Chief Justice, the former premier Tun Dr Mahathir and the monarchy that is also being dragged in.
One day you get the ex-CJ spilling the beans stating that the independence of the judiciary was sentenced to imprisonment by the Tun Dr Mahathir.
Now you hear the Tun denying it and instead charging that His Majesty the King of Malaysia was behind this despicable blow on democracy.
So we have a tripartite issue here that when in collision will translate into a political tsunami.
First, the ex-CJ must respond to the twist screwed in by the Tun now. If it is proven that the Tun is lying, then it means treason of the highest order.
When an ordinary rakyat helplessly says or demands for something that is the basic right of humanity and as enshrined in the tenets of democracy, the powers that be will not hesitate to twist it to mean that disrespect has been shown to our revered Rulers. And SLAM the law bangs mercilessly on that soul.
Here you have a former premier saying that he did not chain the judiciary but the King did it. So, if what the ex-CJ said is true, then what is the current prime minister and his cousin going to do to the Tun?
Secondly, if what the Tun said is true, then what have our revered and respected Rulers got to say? Or is this question also seditious?
Thirdly, if what the Tun has said in response is true, then the question that also arises is, what kind of people are sitting on the highest seats of justice? It is nightmarish to even ponder for a second.
Indeed Malaysian politics and politicking is on an avalanche. In the meantime Malaysians can only look at the mirror on the wall for an answer seemingly, given the nature of the coming-soon collision of titanic forces.
