Ong Lodges Second Police Report Against Tiong

(Bernama) — MCA president Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat said he has lodged a second police report against Kuala Dimensi Sdn Bhd CEO Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing.

"Today I lodged a police report against Tiong for lodging a false police report against me. I will give the authorities my fullest co-operation," he wrote in his blog.

Ong reiterated that he had not received the alleged RM10 million for MCA activities from Tiong whose company was the turnkey contractor in the scandal-hit Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ) that is currently being probed by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).

Ong had lodged his first police report following Tiong's allegation and is suing him for RM500 million after Tiong, who is also Bintulu Member of Parliament and Barisan Nasional Backbenchers Club chairman, refused to retract the claim.

Tiong, in turn, went to the police on Aug 26 and filed a report against Ong for alleged cheating over the money.

"His police report was malicious and clearly intended to smear me in my personal capacity, as minister of transport and MCA president," said Ong, who has been questioned twice by the MACC already.
