Daulat Tuanku! The rakyat loves you! A very big thank you to Datuk Ambiga and the 100,000 who turned out and made Bersih a HUGE success; tonight Jibby needs sleeping pill lah. My deepest condolences to Puan Rosni for your loss. I think those FRU men are braindead; who in his right mind will obey blindly and fire on unarmed civilians? This rally could have gone smoothly without any injuries or deaths. If not for all the threats and road blockades, the rally would have been bigger, maybe double the figure!

To the Steering Committee of Bersih 2 and all brave and committed participants of the rally today, we salute you. Shame on you NTR and your lackeys. You could not make your 1Malaysia a reality but today, Bersih 2 brought Malaysians of different races and religions to march as ONE, united in their resolve to see a better Malaysia. This is a glorious day for all Malaysians who dream of a better tomorrow..

I had a good discussion with one of the Indonesian reporter who did not hesitate to claim that the number at Dataran Maybank and its vicinities alone exceeded 25,000. What about at Bukit Bintang, KLCC and others? Overall it surely hit 40.000, at the least..

What happened to our DYMM YDPA ? Why didn't he agree to receiving the memorandum from BERSIH ?
He had the right to protect his people from this bloody brutality

It was a good march!

Lots of Indians, looks like Hindraf has lost some influence. Despite telling its supporters not to go rally, still lost of Indians turned up.. IGP said less than 6000, bugger must have failed in his arithmetic. There were so many people...definitely exceeding 10,000. If there had been a stampede, the police would be squashed.

The digital generation were certainly out in huge numbers. Good show.

It is so heartening and touching to see people from all walks of life, races , old and young and even the handicap participating in this rally despite the obstacles and challenges from the authorities. Shame on those who gave the orders to fire the tear gases and water cannons on your own fellow rakyat who came unarmed and had only one wish to walk peacefully to the Stadium Merdeka. Hopefully there are lessons learned by the authorities.

I am so proud of them ! These brave people/rakyat had shown to us all what 1Malaysia is all about.! Not talk only !

Police brutalities were deliberately being planned and executed with precisions. Their roadblocks and barricades were put up with the very intention to irritate the traveling public. They knew very well that it will no offend Bersih supporters and sympathizers. They can have 100 more of such road blocks to deliberately creating gridlocks to offend road users. Yet (kah! kah! kah!) Bersih supporters would still tolerate the police stupidity. What about those non-supporters of Bersih? Hisapmuddin, you forgot some of your supporters were irritated and got fed up with your stupid action. Naturally, that was a gain for us.

So, why are they still at it? Just to transform Najib into a stupid donkey and to picture him as a weak PM in the face of the opposition onslaught. This surely is the dirty work of that Lembu Mooyiddin. We know, this Mooo is getting impatient and age is catching up with him to ride the succession ladder in Umno.

Are we not seeing that Mooo group is claiming victory now?

A very clear message to najib. Do come to your senses. Think again.

Do not tell us that the police will not allow this or that.
Where is your promise that gatherings can be held inside stadiums?
We all know you are no more in control of your party UMNO.
We all know your youth head is not getting along well with you.
We all know you are doing your best to sideline Khairy, who is of another faction in your party.
If you want to be still in power, give orders to your boys in blue......I hope they can obey you this time.
Ask your boys to follow what you promise to the rakyat.
Ask them to co-operate with the rakyat. Let the rakyat assemble peacefully to express their intentions for a fair and clean upcoming GE13.

But under the present ruling Barisan government, today 09th July 2011 goes down as a very sad day day in our history. That tear gas and water cannons had to be resorted against my fellow peaceful Malaysian brothers and sisters who had gathered for a peaceful rally meant to be held at Stadium Merdeka.

This Government had failed the rakyat and failed badly. All the video clips and photos are truly touching and convey so much frustration in our heads and hearts.

I was there, thousands despite the clampdown. Najib, I will not be able to sleep if I was you. Ibrahim Ali where the F**k wdre you. Silat what have you where the F**k were you?
