(The Star) -  Independent MP Zulkifli Noordin says he will remain vocal in exposing the truth about Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Pakatan Rakyat.

“I am not talking about or referring to any particular case about Anwar in general, and I am speaking as a person who has known Anwar well for the past 12 years.

“If and when it is necessary I will expose,” said Zulkifli yesterday.

“As long as they don’t keep lying or spreading false news on any subject, I have no problem. My responsibility is to tell the people what they should know about Anwar, PKR, DAP and PAS,” added Zulkifli.

The former Anwar confidante and now vocal Pakatan critic told Parliament earlier this week during a debate that the Opposition was highlighting the Govern-ment’s purchase of Scorpene submarines in order to link Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak to the Altantuya murder case despite the lack of evidence.

“I handled the case. I represented the accused, (and) at that time I was also the lawyer for The Honourable member for Permatang Pauh (Anwar),” the Parliament Hansard quoted him as saying.

“If at that time there was any evidence at all on the involvement of the Prime Minister, surely I would have used it, but there was none, and I was even scolded and told ‘why is there no evidence, you create, fabricate,” he was further quoted as saying in the Hansard.

Zulkfili won the Kulim-Bandar Baharu seat in the 2008 general election as a PKR candidate. His criticism of Anwar and the party led to his sacking from the party in 2010.
