TOG was once led by "Pastor" Peter Tan. He was know as a man "full of the spirit" with "power" till he was caught having sex with his own adopted daughter, an Indian girl called Uma and had pilfered tons of money from the church tithes.

The charismatic community in Malaysia was full of praise for Peter Tan, treated this charlattan like a demi-god till his downfall. Just about half of those who attended his congregation went crazy.

Peter Tan is now in Singapore, attempting to build yet another mega church.

TOG and the Dove World Outreach center and the likes always needs a publicity stunt to bring in the money. Whether it is burning the Quran or invoking some great power of the "spirit."

The west has accomodated more to muslim than other reglions/belief eg Buddhists, Hindus, apart from christianity. The muslim must never forget that the opportunity for the migrated ones to live in peace with all the safety nets. An isolated incident should be responded by the locals in that region, not translated to the world, with calls for retaliation and assets burning.
